Afterhours music parties among brilliant instrumentalist friends gave rise to this Brooklyn-based orchestral collective whose members share top-notch musicianship and a passion for musical discovery. In this return Hop engagement, the orchestra performs Stravinsky’s Suite from The Soldier's Tale, a new work by indie singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens and, with Vogler (“power, lyrical quality and passion”—The New York Times), Schumann's Cello Concerto.
