Exhibition: Beryl Korot: Artist-in-Residence

The Studio Art Exhibition Program is pleased to present video and work on paper by fall Artist-in-Residence Beryl Korot.

Beryl Korot is a pioneer of video art since the early 1970’s and of multiple channel work in particular. Her works have been seen internationally in major festivals and performance venues. Most recently a retrospective of her work was exhibited for 6 months at The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art: Beryl Korot: Text/Weave/Line - Video, 1977-2010.

Exhibition: Won Ju Lim: Artist in Residence

April 5 - May 1, 2011

The Studio Art Exhibition Program is pleased to present "Untitled Silence", a sculpture and video installation by Dartmouth College spring Artist-in-Residence Won Ju Lim.

Lim was born in Korea in 1968 and received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Woodbury University. She went on to receive her MFA from the Art Center College of Design in 1998. Her works have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions that include the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing, Galerie Max Hetzler in Berlin, the Vancouver Art Gallery, and the Honolulu Academy of Arts, in addition to group shows at the Hammer Museum, the North Miami Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Seoul Museum of Art. Lim currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
