Christina Seely - The Hour of Land

Assistant Professor of Studio Art Christina Seely has work showcased in an exhibition of photographs in correlation with those curated into Terry Tempest Williams' new book The Hour of Land: A Personal Topography of America's National Parks that is up at EUQINOM projects in San Francisco.

"Part memoir, part natural history, and part social critique, this book is a literary celebration honoring the centennial of the National Park Service. This is a meditation and a manifesto on why wild lands matter to the soul of America and includes a collection of photographs evoking an emotional landscape in parallel with Tempest William's writings about each national park." A reception that includes a reading by Terry and a panel discussion with Christina and other artists from the book will take place on June 8 from 6-8pm.
