The body is universal, but its representation in art takes many forms. Explorations in process, medium, and style transform this familiar object into a subject of individual expression. For every artist, the body presents itself as a timeless and complex depiction of human experience.
We want to see Dartmouth's perspective on the human form. What can be told about our community through a wide range of approaches to the body? Think beyond common conceptions and academic limitations to explore a deeper sense of being.
Please email an image of the work, medium, and dimensions to molly.c.rouzie.24@dartmouth.edu and isabella.b.zenkl.22@dartmouth.edu by October 6th. Artwork does not have to be made in a SART class.
