Louise Hamlin, professor of Studio Art, gave a gallery talk at the Hood Museum, in conjunction with their exhibition of Canaletto's Vedute etchings. She explained basic printing making tools and techniques, demonstrated the inking and wiping of an etched plate, brought examples of student work in different stages of development, and spoke from an artist's point of view about various prints in the exhibition.
